Robert B. Archibald is an award-winning author and the founder of the International Foundation for Critical Thinking, a project of the Institute for Critical Thinking. He is a former executive at IBM, a business consultant, program chair for the New York State Bar Association's intellectual property section, a Certified Public Accountant, and a CPA with a firm in New York City. His first book, The Art of Thinking Clearly: Logic and Persuasion in Everyday Life, was published by Doubleday in 1995
His second book, Thinking Critically: How to Build a Constructive Mindset was published by Jossey-Bass in 2002. Both books were national bestsellers.
